This is a story about Apple, an average fruity guy trying to live his life like a normal apple: hold a job, have friends, etc. However, his tree-mates try to hold him back from achieving his normal life by irritating him with their uncomfortable presence. Apple tries to go to work but ends up being chased by Grape, Banana, and Barky the Tree (who also happens to be their place of residence.) It becomes a race against the odds as Apple's pie car is pit against Barky's long legs. The story comes to a climax as the characters finally reach the "finish line", and the unimaginable happens.
